Only Plastpolymer Joint Stock Company produces TPFP films in Russia. Melting fluoropolymer films have a complex of unique properties and retain all advantages of film materials, the basic one of them is high efficiency at low consumption of materials. Films retain excellent properties of initial polymers, namely tensile strength, multiple bend stability, extreme temperature stability, radiation stability, stability to corrosive fluids, transparency.

Properties of films depend upon the initial polymer and processing conditions. As a rule, fluoropolymeric films are produced by flat die extrusion and winding onto drum with specific temperature. Depending upon the application films can be produced with various widths up to 450 mm and thickness from 0.010 to 0.50 mm.

TPFP films are used to produce combined film materials with the complex of properties that can not be provided by a single polymer in its pure form. These films are not explosive, hardly inflammable, they do not effect upon people in case of direct contact at 25±10 оС.

When fluoroplastic films are produced any pollution protection is not required.

Properties and Examples of Applications of TPFP Films.

 

F-2M Films

Strong, chemical resistant, weather and radiation resistant, abrasive wear resistant, weldable.

Packings for reservoirs, film protective coatings for electronic and electric heating instruments and tools. Packing for medical tools, lining for packing containers. Cable winding of electric motors. Printing circuits.

 

F-40 Films

Acid hydroxide and organic solvent resistant, radiation resistant, moisture resistant, good dielectric. Electroinsulating packings and electroinsulating wires, film roofing coatings.

 

F-4MB Films

Excellent chemical resistance, high electric properties which do not depend upon temperature and current frequency.

Surface protection from corrosive fluids, weather and UV. Manufacture of membranes, disposable containers for low temperature conservation of blood and bone marrow. Insulation of radio technical products, background of printing circuits, generator winding. Combined film materials.

 

F-4MB-2 Films

Resistant to corrosive fluids, high electric properties.

Condenser microphones, electrete membranes, microcircuits, gas analyzers.

 

F-10 Films

Resistant to acids, hydroxides and organic solvents, moisture resistant, good dielectric.

Parts and units of machines used in corrosive fluids, containers, membranes, flexible tubes for medicine and instruments.

 

F-50 Films

High insulating properties, resistant to corrosive fluids at higher temperatures.

Antiadhesion and anticorrosion protection, wire insulation, tank lining, separating antiadhesion layer for vacuum autoclave moulding.
